KAYTRANADA and Childish Gambino enchant with the groove of 'Witchy'

The list of guest artists on KAYTRANADA's third album, 'TIMELESS', is long: PinkPantheress, Thundercat, Anderson .Paak, Channel Tres... In general, everyone gives their best, but the song with Childish Gambino takes the top spot. palm. 'Witchy' is the Song of the Day.

The Haitian-Canadian DJ and producer premiered the song during a set back in 2022 and it was worth the wait. From the first seconds, it is clear that this is a KAYTRANADA track. Halfway between R&B and house, 'Witchy' describes falling in love as a total spell. Even the chords sound like sorcery, if that makes sense.

Glover returns to the vocal range of his last two albums, which delved into classic soul and R&B. The 40-year-old multidisciplinary artist brings out his raspy voice as he sings about not believing in "crystals" or drinking a love potion. He is an expert in choruses and in 'Witchy' he proves it again: "This ain't no spell, you got me open, girl / You're being witchy and I love it, girl," he sings with his refined falsetto.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=621srMtTkbE
